Abstract

Bowen's disease is generally regarded as a premalignant dermatosis. If untreated, 3% to 5% of patients may develop squamous cell carcinoma. However, sebaceous carcinoma arising from Bowen's disease is very rare.
We presented a case of squamous cell carcinomas and sebaceous carcinoma arising from Bowen's disease in a 68 year-old male. He had multiple bowenoid skin lesions on the trunk and extremities. A bean-sized nodule was developed on the bowenoid
lesion
of
the Rt. lower abdomen. Also he had a large yellow crusted exudative tumor on the Rt. thigh.
We took a biopasy specimen of these three discrete lesions. The results of routine histology and lipid stain of frozen section revealed Bowen's disease, squamous cell carcinoma, and sebaceous carcinoma, respectively. (Kor J Dermatol 1995;33(3) :
